Heard.

In view of the earlier order of this Court in W.P.No.26786 of 2000 dated 04.08.2008, the identical prayer in the Writ Petition having been rejected, this Writ petition is not maintainable. Learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law. Permission is accorded and the Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty to the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
