Heard counsel for the petitioner and the Government Pleader for Assignment for respondents.

2. Petitioner's grievance is that he has presented documents for registration before the 4th respondent in respect of his lands, which he intended to sell to third parties, but the 4th respondent has not received the same and is also not assigning any reason in writing why he is not receiving them.

3. Government Pleader for Assignment states that the 4th respondent will receive the documents presented by the petitioner, consider the same for the purpose of registration in accordance with the provisions of the Registration Act, 1908 and the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, and if he does not wish to register the same, he will pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner under Section 71 of the Registration Act.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to receive the documents presented by the petitioner for the purpose of registration and consider the same for registration in accordance with the provisions of the Registration Act and the Indian Stamp Act and if he does not wish to register the same, he shall pass a reasoned order under Section 71 of the Registration Act and

communicate the same to the petitioner. This exercise shall be completed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of presentation of the documents by the petitioner to the 4th respondent. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs. ____________________________ M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO, J November 15, 2017.
