THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.3103 OF 2018

O R D E R

This contempt case was instituted alleging wilful disobedience to the order dated 22.04.2016 passed by this Court in WPMP No.17142 of 2016 in W.P.No.13725 of 2016. By the said order, this Court directed the authorities to verify and quantify the amounts due to the petitioners in terms of the works admittedly executed and such undisputed amounts, if any, were to be paid to the petitioners within a time frame. Learned Government Pleaders for Planning and Panchayat Raj Departments, State of Telangana, would inform this Court that the petitioners were duly paid the undisputed amounts due to them after effecting deductions.

It appears that in so far as the first petitioner is concerned, a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- was due to him and after making various deductions, the net amount of Rs.1,47,175/- was remitted to him. Similarly, the second petitioner was held entitled to a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- and after effecting deductions, the net amount of Rs.1,08,064/- was remitted to him. The acknowledgments of the petitioners, in evidence of receipt of these amounts, are also placed on record.

In that view of the matter, the order passed by this Court stands duly complied with.

The contempt case is accordingly closed. Pending I.As., shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ____________________ JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR 21st DECEMBER, 2018 PGS
