THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WP.No.38251 of 2017 ORDER:
Petitioner has questioned the Endorsement dt.01.08.2017 issued by the 3rd respondent rejecting petitioner's application for survey/subdivision without assigning any reasons.

It is the basic principle of administrative law that any order which visits civil consequences on a person should contain reasons.

Since the impugned order is bereft of reasons, the Writ Petition is allowed with costs of Rs.2,000/- to be paid by 3rd respondent to the petitioner within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The 3rd respondent shall communicate his reasons for rejecting petitioner's application, within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
