Heard the counsel for petitioner and the Government Pleader for Assignment appearing for respondents. 2.
Petitioner's case is that he preferred an appeal under Section 4A of the A.P. Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 before the 3rd respondent assailing the order dt.18.07.2017 of the 4th respondent along with the stay application and that the 3rd respondent has not passed any orders till date.

The Government Pleader for Assignment appearing for 3rd respondent states that the 3rd respondent will dispose of the above appeal within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner.

Since the petitioner cannot be allowed to be dispossessed pending the said appeal rendering the above appeal infructuous, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to evict the petitioner from the subject property pending disposal of the said appeal by the 3rd respondent and the 3rd respondent is directed to decide the said appeal within a period of two (02) months from the date of
receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
