Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

'For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the official respondents in appointing the officer in the office of respondent No.2 for discharging his official duties, as illegal, arbitrary and be pleased to pass such other order or orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case". 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions submits that one Sri Rajiv Sharma, has been appointed as Full Additional In-Charge of respondent No.2 and as such the allegation of the petitioner that no officer has been appointed cannot be accepted.

Having regard to the above, the Full Additional In-Charge officer of the second respondent shall dispose of the appeal filed

by the petitioners dated 01.10.2016, against the order dated 30.09.2015 in Case No.F2/ 3296/ 2011, if the same is pending, as early as possible, preferably within a period of 3 to 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. Further, the stay application, which is said to have been filed along with appeal, shall also be disposed of within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the stay application is disposed of, status-quo as on today shall be maintained with regard to possession, making it clear that no extension would be entertained.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 7.
