ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.50 of 2016 of IV Town Police Station, Nizamabad, registered for the offence punishable under Section 507 IPC and under Section 3(1) (x) of SCs & STs (POA) Act, against him.

2. It is alleged in the complaint that due to dispute with regard to the information about the train schedule, the accused abused the de facto complainant and his family members in filthy language in the name of his caste and threatened him with dire consequences. Based on the complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against the accused.

3. In view of the allegations made in the complaint, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the concerned police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioner/accused and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law. The petitioner herein is directed to appear before the investigating agency as and when required and cooperate with the investigating agency.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
