This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ A.1, to quash the proceedings in Crime No.220 of 2014 on the file of Neredmet Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate, registered for the offences under Sections 498-A of I.P.C. and 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ A.1, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the 1st respondent-State and perused the record.

It is contended that the other accused in this crime were acquitted by the Court below after due trial, wherein, noting was stated by the witnesses who deposed before the Court below alleging any accusations against the petitioner/ A.1.
Therefore, the petitioner/ A.1 is also entitled for quash of proceedings against him. 4 .
The contention now raised by the petitioner/ A.1 can also be raised before the Court below and appropriate relief can be sought from the Court below.

With the above observation, this Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
