THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.40444 of 2018 ORDER:

Heard Ms.S.Priyanka, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Standing counsel for Passport authorities. Letter bearing Ref.No.SCN/306255813/17 dated 08.11.2017 is under challenge in the present Writ Petition. In fact, in response to the said letter, according to the petitioner herein submitted explanation dated 07.12.2017. Even according to the learned Additional Standing counsel appearing for the Government of India, Passport Authorities, their office received the said explanation on 12.12.2017 and the said explanation is still pending consideration before the Passport authorities.

Therefore, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 4th respondent to pass orders by taking into account the said explanation submitted by the petitioner herein in response to the letter dated 08.11.2017 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
