ORDER

This Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the Petitioners/A.1 and A.2 seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.301 of 2015 of Tanuku Police Station, West Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 420, 406, 427 and 506 IPC, against them. It is alleged in the complaint that all the accused in furtherance of their criminal conspiracy destroyed the poultry farm and caused damage to the property and also threatened the complainant with dire consequences.

A perusal of the complaint would show that there are some allegations against the petitioners and truth or otherwise of the said allegations can be ascertained by the investigating agency during the course of investigation. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioners/A.1 and A.2 confined his argument to the extent that in view of pendency of the above crime, the petitioners apprehend arrest and also harassment in the hands of the police. In view of the same, the police concerned are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioners/A.1 and A.2 and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law. The petitioners/A.1 and A.2 are directed to appear before the investigating agency as and when required and cooperate with the investigating agency.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
