Heard the counsel for petitioners, and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue for respondent nos.1 to 4. None appears for respondent nos.5 to 7.

The grievance of petitioners is that they have preferred an appeal in ROC.B1/2992/2012 before the 3rd respondent under BSO 15 challenging the grant of DKT Patta in favour of respondent nos.5 to 7, and that the said appeal has not been disposed of by 3rd respondent. 3.

The learned Government Pleader for Assignment, appearing for respondent nos.1 to 4, states that the 3rd respondent will decide the said appeal within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to decide the said appeal within a period of eight (08) weeks after giving notice to respondent nos.5 to 7. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
