THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.17039 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.'), is filed to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.466 of 2016 of Jeedimetla Police Station, Cyberabad, Hyderabad, registered against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Section 304-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short, 'I.P.C.') on various grounds. During hearing, learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana represented that entire investigation was completed and filed charge sheet, and it was numbered as P.R.C. No.31 of 2016.

At this stage, after filing charge sheet, the proceedings in Cr.No.466 of 2016 cannot be quashed, since it merged with P.R.C. therefore, criminal petition has become infructuous. In the result, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, it is left open to the petitioners to revise their request at appropriate stage.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
