Madan Mohan Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. Santosh Kumar, learned Assistant Government Pleader attached to the Office of Advocate General for the State of Telangana for respondent Nos. 1 to 5. None appears for respondent No.6.

Petitioner has filed this petition seeking production of his daughter, Vemula Sahasra and wife, Bhagyamma, contending that they are illegally detained by respondent No.6. The wife of the petitioner-Bhagyamma is present in the Court. We interacted with her. She states that she willingly left the company of the petitioner in view of cruelty meted out to her and her daughter, and she does not want to join his company. In view thereof, nothing further survives in the writ petition. The writ petition is dismissed. Dismissal of the petition shall not preclude the petitioner from filing petition before Family Court for appropriate relief.
