The grievance of the petitioner is that even though the gift deed dated 16.10.2017 was presented before the Sub-Registrar, Mangalagiri Town & Mandal, Guntur District (3rd respondent), the same is not accepted. However, no proof is filed in support of the contention that the gift deed was presented, but not accepted. No material is filed to show that the required stamp duty and the registration fee is paid to show the bonafides of the petitioner. 3.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner shall present the document by enclosing the required stamp duty as well as registration fee.

Having regard to the above, if the petitioner presents the document with required stamp duty and registration fee, the SubRegistrar (3rd respondent) shall receive the document and process the same in accordance with the Indian Registration Act, 1908 and the Rules made thereunder. If the 3rd respondent is of the opinion that the document cannot be registered, he shall furnish due reasons and communicate the same to the party. 5.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
