Petitioner claims to be the owner of agricultural land to an extent of Acs.2.73 cents in Survey No.87/1-3 of Muthyalampadu Village, Dachepalli Mandal, Guntur District, having purchased the same through a registered sale deed. He claims that on 06.05.2017, he applied through Mee-Seva Citizen Service Centre for conversion of land to an extent of Ac.0.50 cents out of Acs.2.73 cents for non-agricultural purpose. Alleging inaction on the said application, this Writ Petition is filed.

The material on record would disclose that application filed by the petitioner was for conversion of his agricultural land into non-agricultural purpose and the receipt issued by Mee-Seva Citizen Service Centre evidencing filing of such application by the petitioner is filed as Ex.P2 at page No.11.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gurazala, Guntur District, (3rd respondent) to examine the request of the petitioner for conversion of his agricultural land into non-agricultural purpose as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
