This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) to quash the proceedings in F.I.R.No.25 of 2016 on the file of the P.S., Amangal, Mahaboobnagar District, registered for the offences under Sections 3 and 5 of the Explosive Substances Act. Heard and perused the material available on record. This Court is of the view that as the offences alleged against the petitioners are punishable more than five years, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings. However, the petitioners are given liberty to approach the Court below seeking anticipatory bail. The Criminal Petition is accordingly dismissed.
