Petitioner is aggrieved by inclusion of property claimed to have been owned by him in the prohibited list of properties in the notification issued by the Government in exercise of powers under Section 22-A of the Registration Act, 1908 (for short, 'the Act') notified vide G.O.Ms.No.198, Revenue (Assn.I) Department, dated 05.05.2016. Aggrieved by the said inclusion in the prohibited list of properties, petitioner filed application addressed to the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Government of Andhra Pradesh, acknowledged by the office of the CCLA on 21.07.2016. 3.

As per the directions of the Full Bench of this Court in Vinjamuri Rajagopala Chary v. State of Andhra Pradesh1, a Committee is constituted by the Government to redress the grievances of the persons against inclusion of properties in the prohibited list of properties under Section 22-A (1)(e) of the Act. 4.

Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Committee to examine the claim of the petitioner for exclusion of the subject property from the list of prohibited properties and take appropriate decision as warranted by law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three 1 2016 (1) ALT 570 (F.B)

months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
