The case of the petitioner is that she has sent a legal notice through her counsel in the form of request on 12.09.2016 through registered post with acknowledgment due to consider her request for compassionate appointment in their department, on the death of her mother, who worked as an attender during her lifetime. But no initiative has been taken by the respondents so far. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Agriculture.
In view of the above facts and circumstances, the respondent authorities are directed to consider the request of the petitioner made on 12.09.2016 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
