Petitioner claims to be working as Anganwadi worker with effect from 01.04.1999. While so, on 26.08.2017, a show cause notice was drawn calling upon the petitioner to submit her explanation on the allegation that she was not attending to duties. According to the petitioner a detailed explanation was submitted on 20.10.2017. But, so far no final decision is taken and petitioner is not allowed to resume her duties. Hence, this writ petition. 3.
Since the show cause notice was issued and petitioner claims to have responded to the said show cause notice, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition and keep it pending. Suffice, if the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the Child Development Project Officer (3rd respondent) to examine the explanation filed by the petitioner and take appropriate decision as warranted by law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
