This criminal petition under Sections 437 and 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking bail in crime No.92 of 2016 on the file of the P.S., Excise, Pargi, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offence under Section 8(c) read with Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS Act). Heard and perused.

The allegation against the petitioner/accused is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 1⁄2 kg., of Alphozolam. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence and he has been falsely implicated in the present case. He prays this Court to grant bail to the petitioner. Considering the fact that the quantity of Alphozolam, which was found in possession of petitioner/accused is commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/accused.
