ORDER:

Petitioner claims that she is in possession and occupation of house bearing Door No.12-1-321/14, Southern Part Plot No.14, Anand Nagar, Bandlaguda, Nagole, Hyderabad, and the Electricity Distribution Company has sanctioned power supply to the above said house. Alleging power supply is disconnected to the subject premises, this Writ Petition is filed.

The affidavit is bald as to the reason why the power supply is stopped.

Along with the counter-affidavit filed on behalf of respondentcompany, they have enclosed the photocopy of sale deed dated 26.07.2018 executed by the husband of petitioner in favour of Sri Vudugula Raghuveer; photocopy of the municipal tax payment receipt showing that the property is standing in the name of Vudugula Raghuveer; and request made by Mr. Raghuveer on 25.10.2018 to disconnect power supply to the subject premises. 4.

According to the respondents, power supply is disconnected on the request made by the owner of the property. This contention of respondent-company is not denied by the petitioner. No other material is brought on record to show that petitioner is actually in possession of the subject property.

Having regard to this statement, it cannot be said that action of respondents in disconnecting the power supply is illegal. Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed, leaving it open to petitioner to work out her remedies as available in law, if any, against person requesting to disconnect power supply. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
