HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.40647 OF 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the 1st respondent in issuing the proceedings dated 15.10.2018 to the petitioner contrary to orders of this Court, as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise, placed on record the order dated 13.11.2018, passed by the 1st respondent, wherein the license issued in favour of the petitioner to run the A-4 shop for sale of Indian made Foreign liquor and Foreign liquor, has been cancelled. Having regard to the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition and the same is accordingly closed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 13.11.2018, passed by the 1st respondent before the appropriate Forum. No order as to costs.
