THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.17203 OF 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code (for short "Cr.P.C.") to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.1592 of 2013 on the file of I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Visakhapatnam.

During hearing, Ms.T.V. Sridevi, learned counsel for the petitioner, requested this Court to issue a direction, without touching any merits, to the trial Court to decide the matter as expeditiously as possible.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petition is disposed of directing the I Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Visakhapatnam to dispose of the C.C.No.1592 of 2013 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
