It is the case of the petitioners that they made applications under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 on 13.01.2014, 18.01.2014, 16.01.2014, 17.01.2014, 20.01.2014 and 21.01.2014 in pursuant to Award No.4 of 2013, dated 12.08.2013. As the same are not being disposed of, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for respondents.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the applications filed by the petitioners, in accordance with law and take action accordingly.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this Writ Petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
