The grievance of the petitioners is that they have submitted written representation dated 17-06-2016 to the 3rd respondent to correct the revenue records in respect of lands in question is noted as 'sarkari land' as patta lands of the petitioners, but the 3rd respondent-Tahsildar, Shamirpet Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, has not passed any orders in the matter.

2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, on instructions, submits that the petitioners have to apply for correction of revenue records in the format prescribed for that purpose under AP Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971.

3. Inasmuch as this writ petition is filed only aggrieved by the non-disposal of the representation said to have been made by the petitioners, it is open for the petitioners to apply for correction of revenue records in respect of their lands in proper format, and on such application being filed by them, the 3rd respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate

orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
