HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K.JAISWAL CRIMINAL PETITION No.12452 of 2016 ORDER :

This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking to quash the F.I.R.No.163 of 2016 of Chandrayangutta Police Station, registered for the offences punishable under sections 420 & 511 of IPC and Sections 9 & 10 of Prevention of Child Marriage Act.

It is noticed from the material on record that in Crime No. 163 of 2016, the investigating agency has completed the investigation and filed charge sheet in the Court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. Even though the said charge sheet has not been registered and taken cognisance of, the certified copy is issued by the said Court. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this criminal petition is disposed of, directing the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad to take cognisance of charge sheet in accordance with law, number the case and dispose of the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
