It is the case of the petitioner that though he filed an application in Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 on 23.07.2016 before the 3rd respondent-Tahsildar for mutation and issuance of pattadar passbook in respect of the subject property, no action is being taken. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition is filed. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Since the application of the petitioner dated 23.07.2016 is pending with the 3rd respondent-Tahsildar, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 23.07.2016 and take action accordingly within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stands closed.
