(Per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) Sri D.Sarath Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, addressed letter dated 21.12.2017 to the Registry stating that he was instructed by the petitioners to withdraw the writ petition reserving liberty to avail alternative remedies in accordance with law. Learned counsel reiterates this prayer in person.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty aforestated. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
