HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE THOTTATHIL B. RADHAKRISHNAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT WRIT PETITION No.40816 OF 2018 ORDER (ORAL): (Per Hon'ble The Chief Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan) The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been served with certain papers by the learned Standing Counsel for the Election Commission of India.

The learned Standing Counsel for the Election Commission of India submits that the Election Commission of India has acceded to the request of the writ petitioner and a decision has already been taken in terms of the request of the writ petitioner and 'Truck' is the symbol allotted to all the candidates belonging to the writ petitioner, which is a registered political party.

We record this submission.

This writ petition has, therefore, become infructuous. The same is accordingly closed.
