This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents permitting the husband of the fourth respondent to participate in Zilla Parishad meetings, Adilabad, as illegal and arbitrary.

No representation on behalf of the petitioner on 30.04.2018. Today also, no representation on behalf of the petitioner even though the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal'. It seems that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute the matter. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
