HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.SHANKAR NARAYANA WRIT PETITION No.14338 of 2016 ORDER:

The instant writ petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of the 4th respondent-District Manager, A.P. Civil Supplies Corporation Limited, in not giving a direction to the 7th respondent Society to procure the paddy from the farmers of Someswaram Village, Rayavaram Mandal, East Godavari District, for the Rabi and Kharif seasons for the years 2015-16 and 2016-17, as arbitrary.

At the hearing, learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent represented that they are ready to collect the paddy from the petitioner and entrusted collection of paddy to the 7th respondent and that the 7th respondent would collect the paddy. To that effect, instructions in the form of an unsigned letter addressed by the Joint Collector & EO ED, APSCSCL, Kakinada, to the Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent, are also filed. Learned counsel for the petitioner requests that the writ petition may be dismissed as not pressed, by recording the aforesaid submissions of the learned

Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as not pressed by recording the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel for the 4th respondent.
