HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Criminal Revision Case No.3110 of 2018 ORDER:
The petition to compound the offence pending revision impugning the conviction judgment of the trial Court confirmed by the lower appellate Court filed.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The offence is under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act (for short, 'the Act'). As costs are to be paid for permitting compounding under Section 147 of the N.I. Act, such cheque is for Rs.2,00,000/- which is subject to payment of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand only) to Army Welfare Fund, the petition to compound the offence is permitted from accused and the complainant, revision petitioner and respondent respectively, present in seeking to compound pursuant to the above.

The Criminal Revision case is allowed since proof of payment filed by setting aside the conviction judgment of the lower appellate Court by compounding the offence under Section 147 of Negotiable Instruments Act r/w.320 Cr.P.C. Bail bonds of the accused if any, shall stand cancelled.
