THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.37824 OF 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents in seeking to dismantle the Lakshmi Devi Abode and tamper with the Antiquity listed 'Chariot' of the petitioner Mutt, violating the provisions of Antiquities and Art Treasures, 1973.

The learned standing counsel for the fifth respondent submitted on 12.03.2018 that the fifth respondent has already undertaken repairs to the 'Chariot'.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the order of the Commissioner, dated 16.12.2017 directing the fifth respondent to stop the work of dismantling the old 'Chariot' and Lakshmi Devi Abode, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
