HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 43486 of 2018 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the fourth respondent in not considering the representation made by the petitioner dated 05.09.2018 and 15.10.2018 to conduct election to the fifth respondent society, in spite of repeated visits, as illegal and arbitrary.

2) At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, the Government Pleader for Co-operatives, on instructions submits that election notification for conducting elections to the fifth respondent society was issued and the schedule for conducting elections is fixed on 18.12.2018.

3) In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. 4) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
