JAISWAL WRIT PETITION No. 42492 of 2016 ORDER: (Per VRS,J) The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition, seeking a mandamus to direct the respondents to give her admission to M.B.B.S. course for the academic year 2016-17. 2.
Heard Mr. C. Sai Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr. T. Nageswarara Rao, learned standing counsel for NTR University of Health Sciences, takes notice for the 1st respondent. 3.
The case of the petitioner is that she could not secure a seat for the academic year 2016-17 in any of the medical colleges. But, upon coming to know that a Scheduled Caste candidate, who was allotted a seat, has already vacated the seat, the petitioner made a representation on 31.10.2016. On the ground that the said representation should be considered, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition. 4.
But, the last date for admission, as fixed by the Supreme Court, was over on 30.09.2016. For the current academic year alone, the deadline was extended by two interim orders by the Supreme Court, first up to 07.10.2016 and then up to 14.10.2016. The representation
VRS,J & MSKJ,J WP No.42492 of 2016 of the petitioner itself is dated 31.10.2016. Therefore, the prayer of the petitioner is incapable of being granted. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
