The said instructions read as under: - "It is respectfully submitted that on receipt of communication about the filing of the present Writ Petition by the petitioner herein, this respondent has thoroughly verified the records of this respondent Police Station of Narsingi including the Station General Diary as to whether any complaint or case has been received or registered against the petitioners herein.
The records revealed that as of now, no complaint or case whatsoever was received or registered against the petitioner herein on the file of Narsingi Police Station.

It is pertinent to submit that this respondent never interfered with the civil disputes much less the dispute of the petitioner herein.
I humbly submit that this respondent police are not the competent authority to dispossess or evict the petitioners from the subject lands in question."
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by placing on record the said instructions furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Narasingi Police Station, dated 14.11.2018, with a further direction to the respondent-police authorities not to meddle with the civil disputes unless the same is permissible in accordance with law.
