This Criminal Petition is filed under Sectio n 492 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short ,Cr.p.C. ) by the petitioners/ Accused Nos.2 to 5 to quash the proceedings against them in C.C.No. 183 of 2Ol7 pending on the file of the XV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally, Hyderabad. The offence alleged against them are punishable under Sections 498-A o[ Indian penal Code and Sections 3, 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent-State and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner Nos. I and 2 who are accused Nos.2 and 3 died and in so far as petitioner Nos.3 and 4 who are accused Nos.4 and 5 are concerned, the parties intend to compromise.

The offences alleged against the petitioners are under Section 498-A of IPC and Sections 3 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Since the parties intend to compromise, the

Criminal Petition is disposed off, granting liberty to the petitioners to file an application seeking to compound all the offences.

Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
