HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.41198 OF 2018 ORDER:

The present writ petition came to be filed seeking to declare the action of the 2nd respondent in not considering the application submitted by the petitioner dated 6.11.2018 seeking interim custody of the vehicle bearing No.TS 06 UA 0484 as sized by the 3rd respondent in Crime No.255/2016 on the file of the Excise Police Station, Achampet, pending further orders, as illegal and arbitrary. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise, would submit that after seizing the subject vehicle, confiscation orders were passed on 10.04.2017, a copy of which is placed on record and the writ petition may be closed.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise, the writ petition is closed giving liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy, if any, available to him. No order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending consideration, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
