HONOURABLE SRI J USTICE SURESH K UMAR K AIT CRIMINAL PETITION No. 16846 of 2016 ORDER:

Vide present Criminal Petition, the petitioner/Accused seeks bail in crime No. 236 of 2016 registered on the file of Station House Officer, I Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam, Visakhapatnam District for the offences punishable under Section 420 IPC and Section 76 of the A.P. Chit Fund Act, 1982. Heard learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner/Accused and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent-State. Perused the material on record.

Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner not only cheated the de facto complainant but also cheated more than 40 people for an amount of more than one crore of rupees, I am not inclined to grant bail.
