Heard Sri P.Nagendra Reddy for petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader (Home) for respondents.

Petitioner is Accused No.4 in Cr.No.60 of 2016. Petitioner complains belated investigation into crime, as it is affecting his constitutional right.

The Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the investigation is substantially completed, steps as required to secure the presence of Accused No.1 will be initiated and charge-sheet will be filed within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The counsel for petitioner submits that the statement of Assistant Government Pleader can be placed on record and the writ petition may be disposed of.

The statement of Assistant Government Pleader is placed on record and accepted.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
