This writ petition is filed challenging the inaction of the 5th respondent in implementing the orders dated 06-09-1965 issued by Additional Assistant Settlement Officer, Chittoor District. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue produced written instructions, wherein it is stated as follows: " In the present case Sy.No.190/P and 198/3 are Government Poramboke lands as per the village accounts of Kolathuru Village and hence the then Tahsildar, Peddapanjnai is not competent for implementing the orders passed by Additional Assistant Settlement Officer, Chittoor District in SR.Nos 692 and 963/11(a)/65/PGN, dt.06-09-1965 in favour of the Writ Petitioner and hence submitted proposals to the District Collector, Chittoor during the year 2008 and the same is pending disposal by the Joint Collector Cum Settlement Officer, Chittoor as on to date in Collector, Chittoor Reference No.F3/3370/2011, dated 05-11-2011."

Since it is stated that proposals are pending before the Joint Collector-cum-Settlement Officer, Chittoor, the competent authority is directed to take appropriate action on the proposals in terms of proceedings referred to above in the written instructions in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. _________________________ A.RAJASHEKER REDDY,J 15-11-2018 Nvl
