THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.1934 OF 2016 ORDER:
1. This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners-A1 to A3 under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure seeking to quash the proceedings against them in Crime No.73 of 2016 on the file of Sanjeevareddynagar Police Station, Hyderabad City, Telangana State, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 448, 506, 354 and 323 IPC.
2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record.
3. It is alleged in the complaint that when the de factocomplainant was alone in her house, the petitioners attacked her and beat her. It is stated that there is a love affair between the son of petitioners No.1 and 2 and the daughter of the 2nd respondent. In that regard, the petitioners attacked the 2nd respondent and tried to outrage her modesty.
4. Earlier, this Court orally directed petitioners Nos.1 and 2 to be present on the next date of hearing along with their son. Today, petitioners No.1 and 2 and their son appeared before this Court. Petitioners No.1 and 2 submitted that they are ready to arrange the marriage between their son and the daughter of the 2nd respondent and they will not stand in the way of the said marriage proposal.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by petitioners 1 and 2, the 1st respondent-
police are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioners and file a final report, if any, in accordance with law. The petitioners-accused Nos. 1 to 3 are directed to appear before the Investigating Agency as and when required and cooperate with the Investigating Agency.
6. With the above directions, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending, shall stand closed.
