Bhosale) None appears for the petitioner. Sri S. Santosh Kumar, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents. This Habeas Corpus writ petition seeks production of Syed Yousufuddin, maternal uncle of the petitioner and his friend Mohd. Shakeel. According to the petitioner, they have been illegally detained by the respondents.

Sri Santosh Kumar submits that Syed Yousufuddin and Mohd. Shakeel have been arrested in connection with Crime No.448 of 2016 registered at Rajendra Nagar Police Station and they were produced before the concerned Magistrate and are now in judicial custody. That seems to be the reason why no one is coming forward to work out the writ petition on merits.
