HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.36743 of 2017 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, the petitioner seeks a writ in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action on the part of respondents 1 to 4 in not taking action against the report given by the petitioner dated 21.11.2016, 18.12.2016 and 16.8.2017 against the respondents 5 to 7, who are the hardcore criminals and involved in so many cases, as illegal, arbitrary and to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to register the crime against respondents 5 to 7.

When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home represented that the police of Eluru I Town Police Station, West Godavari District have registered Crime No. 222 of 2017 dated 2.11.2017 against respondents 5 to 7 on the complaint given by the petitioner. He produced a copy of FIR in Crime No. 222/2017.

In that view of the matter, this Writ Petition is closed with a direction to the police to conduct the investigation in the aforesaid crime expeditiously, as per the procedure, and file the report before the
