The grievance of the petitioner is that he made an application on 16-08-2018 for rectification of entries in revenue records in respect of subject land. In pursuance to the same, the petitioner was issued notice dated 23-08-2018 and the petitioner attended the said dates. But no enquiry is conducted and no action has been taken by the 4th respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the writ petition is filed.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue produced written instructions stating that the 4th respondent has given notices to all other land owners for rectification of land records. After preparation of field record, the same has to be sent to the Assistant Director, Survey and Land Records through the Deputy Inspector of Survey for correction of wrong entries and sought time for completing the process.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, the competent authority is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 16-08-2018 in accordance with law and take action within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
