THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.10293 OF 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) to quash the proceedings in Crime No.120 of 2017 of Srikalahasti Rural P.S., Chittoor District, filed for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 323 and 508 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3(1)(r)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, on various grounds but the counsel for the petitioners-Accused Nos.1 to 3 requested to issue directions to the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C.

Without touching the merits of the case and acceding to the request of the counsel for the petitioners, this Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police concerned to follow the procedure under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Arnesh Kumar v.
