HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.44016 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to direct the official respondents not to call them to the police station without there being any crime against them. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is the grievance of the petitioners that they brought up the husband of the 6th respondent and performed his marriage with the 6th respondent and now, the 6th respondent and her husband are living separately and that at the instance of the 6th respondent, the police are calling the petitioners to the police station. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioners, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:

"The official respondents are directed not to call the petitioners to the police station without there being any crime against them. However, this order does not stand in the way of the official respondents in proceeding against the petitioners, if any crime is registered against them for cognizable offence." 5.
