2017-11-22M.Satyanarayana Murthy1 pages

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No. 11433 OF 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to quash the proceedings in crime No. 188 of 2017 of Proddatur II Town Police Station, Kadapa District.

2.

After arguing the case for awhile, learned counsel for the petitioners requested this Court to direct the concerned S.H.O. to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in "Rajesh Sharma Vs. State of U.P.1". 3.

Acceding to the request of learned counsel for the petitioners, without touching the merits, I find that it is a fit case to issue direction to the police to follow the procedure laid down by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma (supra). Accordingly, the police concerned are directed to adhere to the guidelines issued in Rajesh Sharma (supra).

4.

With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this criminal petition shall stand closed in consequence.
