Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent State, and perused the record.
This petition is filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of bail to the petitioner/accused in Crime No.439 of 2017 of IV Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam City, for the offences punishable under Sections 306 and 498-A IPC.
Learned counsel for the petitioner/accused would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person. The allegations do not constitute offences under Sections 306 and 498-A IPC. The material on record reveals that the petitioner was in habit of locking his wife in the house and going out to attend his job. There is also specific allegation of abetment to commit suicide. There are also allegations to show that the deceased was subjected to mental and physical cruelty. The allegations are grave. It is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.
