CVNR, J & TA, J WP.No.41240 of 2018 Dated:15.11.2018 Order: (Per the Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "... to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Habeas Corpus declaring the action of the respondents police in detaining the petitioner's husband namely Subrahmanyam Ramaiah, aged 39 years, as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently, to direct respondent No.2, to in turn direct respondent No.3 to produce the said Subrahmanyam Ramaiah before this Honourable Court and set him free." At the hearing, Mr. Vikas Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the alleged detenu was arrested and produced before the jurisdictional Magistrate on 14.11.2018, who remanded him to judicial custody.
In the light of the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of infructuous.
